Tania is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Assured Food Safety Consulting. Tania brings a wealth of experience in the food and beverage industry, including restaurants and manufacturing environments. She specializes in HACCP development, food safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and certification support.

Since establishing Assured Food Safety Consulting in 2022, Tania has worked with a wide range of stakeholders across the Canadian food industry, helping businesses strengthen their preventive control programs and achieve GFSI-recognized certifications. Her core focus is HACCP and GFSI implementation, ensuring systems are not only compliant but also practical and operationally effective.

With previous experience working alongside the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), she brings a strong understanding of regulatory expectations under SFCR and preventive control requirements. As an accredited HACCP Lead Instructor recognized by the International HACCP Alliance, she delivers professional HACCP training and supports clients pursuing certifications such as SQF, Gluten-Free, Organic, and Non-GMO.

Tania believes that a well-designed food safety and quality management system drives both compliance and business growth. In 2024, she launched The Safe Table Podcast, where she interviews food industry professionals and business owners to share practical strategies for strengthening food safety culture. She was also internationally recognized as a 40 Under 40 Food Safety Professional by Stop Foodborne Illness.

Gurpreet is a seasoned food safety and quality assurance professional with over 15 years of experience in the food industry. Since 2011, she has supported food manufacturing, storage, and distribution operations in developing practical, audit-ready food safety systems.

She provides consulting support for SQF, BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, GDP, and SFCR–CFIA compliance, along with customer and internal audit preparation. Gurpreet also assists with Halal, Kosher, and other certification requirements.

Her experience spans poultry and meat processing, bakery, high-risk RTE, low-risk confectionery, and airline catering. With strong technical knowledge and hands-on industry experience, Gurpreet is committed to helping businesses build effective, compliant, and sustainable food safety programs.
